Description

You will design and implement enterprise data center networks in multi-vendor environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build network prototypes, including modeling, analysis, and capacity planning to meet volume demands.
• Perform site surveys to determine cabling, MDF/IDF sizing, rack layouts, and power/heat load requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, routing technologies, and load balancing platforms.
• Analyze packet-level information and monitor network performance to detect and resolve issues.
• Develop disaster recovery plans, network security measures, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture or engineering.
• Proficiency with Cisco Routers and Cisco Nexus Cores.
• Hands-on experience with EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing.
• Experience with NXOS, VLAN, VTP, and STP.
• Knowledge of EX 3200 and EX 4500 hardware.
• Ability to use Wireshark, SYSLOG, and packet analysis tools.
• Experience with Frame Relay and PPP/HDLC.
• Competency in coordinating network migrations and design reviews.

Preferred Skills

• Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
