Description

You will manage network monitoring and administration within a global WAN/LAN environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead network monitoring telemetry migration to new solutions while maintaining current capabilities.
• Oversee configuration and monitoring of network devices across data centers, corporate offices, and remote facilities.
• Administer monitoring tools, including device discovery, installations, maintenance, security patching, and telemetry system changes.
• Create and maintain technical support documentation and infrastructure diagrams.
• Contribute to technical projects and initiatives to improve and automate technical tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering network monitoring tools in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with SNMP data/trap collection and NetFlow troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring alerts and creating dashboards using network performance management tools.
• Proficiency with Linux distributions including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Event Management solutions.
• Practical knowledge of WAN/LAN networking.
• Ability to work with REST API scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Broadcom/CA Spectrum, Performance Management, or Network Flow Analysis.
• Familiarity with Riverbed NetIM, NetProfiler, or IBM SevOne NPM.
• CCNAs, ITIL certification, or experience in the airline industry.
