Description

You will lead the redesign and separation of the DC Core from the LAN Core to increase resiliency across multiple regional data centers.

Responsibilities

• Design a new DC Core architecture at the Burbank Regional DC to serve as a replicable standard for five additional data centers.
• Migrate all DC L3 SVIs to new core hardware.
• Implement automation via CloudVision configlets or Ansible to ensure design replicability.
• Deploy solutions to extend VLANs from vSphere farms to the hospital edge using VXLAN to isolate spanning tree.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Arista OS and CloudVision (management, configlets, and monitoring).
• Cisco Nexus OS (non-ACI environments).
• Arista hardware experience including 7050CX, 7050SX, and 7010.
• DC Fabric Technology.
• VXLAN and EVPN.
• mpBGP.
• BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with Catalyst 3750 or 9300 series switches.

Preferred Skills

• IS-IS routing protocol.
