Description

You will manage and maintain complex network infrastructures, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve network issues, including routing loops, asymmetric routing, and STP loop issues.
• Implement operational changes and coordinate with project teams on technical deployments.
• Represent the team during change and incident management meetings.
• Analyze device outputs and tool metrics to make hardware and performance recommendations.
• Communicate technical requirements to customers and coordinate tasks with offshore teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of network engineering experience.
• Expertise in routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Proficiency in LAN switching, including VLAN, VTP, STP, and EtherChannel.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus 9K/7K series switches.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco IOS and NX-OS software.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA, IPS, and Cisco Client.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, and SSL.
• Competency in network security protocols: IPsec, SSL VPN, Cisco AnyConnect, AAA, TACACS+, RADIUS, and 802.1x.
• Experience managing Quality of Service (QoS) and application load balancers.

Preferred Skills

• SD-WAN experience, specifically with Silver Peak.
• Next-Gen Firewall experience, specifically Cisco Firepower.
• Wireless experience with Cisco WLC.
