Description

You will design, implement, and automate Check Point firewall solutions in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement holistic Check Point firewall solutions, including policy automation and threat policy management.
• Configure, maintain, and upgrade Security Gateway Clusters and Security Management Servers.
• Manage Check Point infrastructure using Gaia CLI, performing system upgrades and installing hotfixes.
• Operate Maestro HyperScale technology, managing Orchestrators, Security Groups, and traffic flow.
• Automate firewall policy deployments and orchestrate security workflows via API integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Expertise in Check Point API architecture for automation and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Check Point Rule Base, Smart Console, and Gaia OS.
• Proficiency in Python 2.7 for advanced scripting tasks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Deep understanding of Maestro HyperScale technology and Orchestrator functions.
• Proven ability to manage threat management tools including IPS, AV, and URL Filtering.
• Experience managing identity services for security rule implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience installing and configuring Check Point Multi-Domain Security Management (MDSM).
• Knowledge of implementing Management High Availability within MDSM environments.
