Description

You will manage and maintain IT-OT foundation infrastructure and services in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Trace and document fiber optic cabling and media.
• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and tune Cisco switches and connecting infrastructure.
• Isolate, diagnose, and resolve network problems through individual effort and team coordination.
• Liaise with technical teams to coordinate, implement, and support network changes.
• Maintain system access and security to safeguard company data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with networking architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware, including switches and connecting infrastructure.
• Proficiency with copper and fiber media and associated transceivers.
• Experience cabling, powering, and configuring Cisco switches, UPS, and PDU hardware.
• Ability to work in industrial plant sites requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel-toe shoes, hearing, eye, and hardhat protection.
• Physical capability for walking stairs, navigating obstacles, and lifting moderate weights.
• Ability to pass TWIC card access restrictions.
• Strong technical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, BSEE, BSCS, or BSET.
• Cisco Certifications, such as CCNA.
