Description

You will design, deploy, and manage enterprise Layer 2/3 network infrastructure using Extreme Networks technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Layer 2/3 infrastructure using Extreme Networks switches (5320, 5520, VSP series).
• Configure and troubleshoot ExtremeXOS and Fabric Connect technologies.
• Implement network segmentation, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast protocols.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues using ExtremeCloud IQ.
• Maintain network security through MACsec, ACLs, and port security.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking.
• Proven expertise with Extreme Networks switches and management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with VLANs, STP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Ability to maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network automation and scripting using Python or Ansible.
• Extreme Certified Specialist (ECS) or Extreme Certified Professional (ECP) certifications.
