Description

You will manage, configure, and monitor networking equipment in a redundant environment with real-time failover.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and monitor network equipment to ensure security, scalability, and availability.
• Troubleshoot outages, schedule upgrades, and optimize network performance.
• Partner with Security teams to enforce guidelines and maintain enterprise compliance.
• Define best practices for routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, load balancing, and DNS.
• Drive proactive remediation and enable tooling for L1/L2/L3 incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of BGP, MPLS, and ISIS routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and DNS.
• Solid knowledge of Transport technologies and IP/Network Security.
• Deep understanding of the OSI reference model.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage multiple commitments and plan work during maintenance windows.
• Willingness to perform shift work and provide 24x7 support.
