Description

Design, configure, and deploy Cisco Meraki network infrastructure for new retail store builds, ensuring consistent and repeatable delivery from initial setup through cutover validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy new store networks using Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR) platforms, including VLANs, SSIDs, switch ports, firewall rules, and SD-WAN settings.
• Create and manage store network IP space and subnets in IPAM platforms like Infoblox, developing configuration standards for naming conventions and port mappings.
• Support rack and stack activities, performing remote or onsite validation of network connectivity, WAN, LAN, wireless, and voice services during installation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and VPN issues using the Meraki Dashboard, resolving end-to-end functionality gaps post-deployment.
• Maintain accurate documentation for store configurations, topology, and standards, verifying compliance and tracking deployment progress.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki MX, MS, and MR platforms.
• Deep knowledge of VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, VPN, WAN, and LAN.
• Experience with firewall and security policy configuration.
• Familiarity with cloud-managed networking architectures.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting off-hours cutovers and coordinating with field teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with retail or branch network rollouts.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation or repeatable deployment frameworks.
