Description

You will manage and troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network environments across physical and virtual infrastructures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Layer-2 and Layer-3 network troubleshooting independently.
• Collaborate with network operations and vendors to perform Root-Cause Analysis.
• Partner with systems engineering to plan and execute network feasibility and proof of concept tests.
• Manage network hardware, software, and firmware certification processes.
• Operate in lab environments using network equipment test sets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper datacenter fabrics.
• Proficiency with Junos and IOS-XR network operating systems.
• Deep knowledge of MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, MBGP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Expertise in Route policies, Route-maps, QOS, VLAN, VRRP, GRE, and IPsec tunneling.
• Experience with Load Balancers including F5 and Brocade.
• Working knowledge of Virtual Network Functions and hypervisors like VMware and KVM.
• Practical experience with IXIA and Spirent test sets.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting experience.
