Description

You will own the day-to-day network operations, topology maintenance, and troubleshooting for a growing infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and maintenance of network topology to meet business and operational requirements.
• Monitor network performance and recommend technology enhancements to management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for network environments.
• Engage with third-party vendors to validate market offerings and enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• 5+ years of IP network support experience.
• Expertise with TCP/UDP, ICMP, VLANs, trunking, routing, and subnetting.
• Proficiency with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Ability to decode and review protocol traces.
• 5+ years of configuration and troubleshooting with Juniper, Checkpoint, and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
• 5+ years of command mastery with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Arista switches and routers.
• Availability for 24x7x365 on-call rotation.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS) and automation tools like Ansible.
• Experience with Akamai, F5 load balancers, Aruba Wireless Controllers, or NetBrain.
