Description

Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco Nexus and router infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy Cisco Nexus 9K/9200 switches and 4300/4200 series routers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routing, switching, and connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments.
• Perform circuit upgrades, troubleshoot carrier issues, and validate turn-up procedures.
• Execute Lifecycle Replacement (LCP) of network devices, including hardware swaps and configuration migration.
• Maintain network diagrams, documentation, and inventory for all deployed equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Cisco Nexus 3000/7000 Series and Arista switches.
• Experience with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Knowledge of switching features such as vPC, MLAG, and VTP.
• Familiarity with multicast and VPN technologies (e.g., MSDP, DMVPN).
• Skills in automation using Ansible and scripting with Python, Visual Basic, or Shell.
• Experience managing network monitoring tools like Nagios or Graylog.
• Understanding of security technologies including AAA, TACACS+, and RADIUS.

Preferred Skills

• SNMP proficiency.
