Sr Network Engineer

Design and implement complex network projects including Hyper-Converged Infrastructure and Software-Defined Architecture. Own the lifecycle of infrastructure technologies from assessment to support.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Cisco Routing and Switching, Avaya Switching, Firewalling, WAN/LAN, VoIP, and Unified Communications.
• Manage Aruba Wireless networks and Cisco UCS hardware infrastructure.
• Conduct network assessments, capacity planning, and architecture reviews to ensure scalability.
• Perform routine hardware and software audits to maintain compliance with established standards and policies.
• Develop and maintain configuration, design, and SOP documentation while mentoring junior team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, network engineering, or IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with LAN switch technology, large-scale LAN networks, STP, and VTP domain management.
• Proficiency with Cisco, LAN, and VoIP technologies.
• Working knowledge of VMWare, NetApp, Active Directory, Citrix, and F5/NetScaler.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Active Cisco Certifications such as CCNP or CCDP.
• CNE (Certified Novell Engineer) or Network+ certification.
