Description

You will lead network and security project delivery with a primary focus on design, implementation, and support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and support network services using TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and LAN switching technologies.
• Manage firewall, VPN, and security projects, including PCI and SOX compliance initiatives.
• Develop automation solutions to streamline operations using Python, Go, PowerShell, Ansible, and REST APIs.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of network initiatives, including documentation and cloud integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate project progress and impediments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and LAN switching.
• Experience with Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortinet preferred; Palo Alto acceptable).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, Ansible, REST APIs, JSON, and YAML.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Experience with Nutanix or similar hyper-converged technology and VMware or Acropolis Hypervisors.
• Familiarity with load balancing (F5 preferred) and monitoring tools such as Splunk, NetScout, Zabbix, Prime, ISE, Aruba Central, Netbox, or IPAM.
• 3+ years of experience in Active Directory environments.

Preferred Skills

• Background in desktop and remote support.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
