Description

You will manage and monitor data communications networks to ensure continuous availability for all system users.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance using console-based event management tools.
  • Lead complex network projects from inception to completion.
  • Troubleshoot network issues by investigating ambiguity and implementing technical fixes.
  • Configure routing, switching, and firewall settings across the infrastructure.
  • Maintain security processes and technical documentation.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of network operations experience.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco and Silverpeak routing and switching.
  • Deep understanding of MPLS, BGP, TCP/IP, and IPv4/6.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco firewalls (Sourcefire, Firepower, FTD).
  • Proficiency with Cisco ISE (Network Access Control).
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring (Solarwinds) and logging (Rapid7).
  • Working knowledge of DNS, SSL, and wireless technologies.
  • Scripting and automation skills using Python and PowerShell.
  • Experience managing cloud environments in Azure and AWS.
  • Familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Cybersecurity engineering experience.
  • Industry certifications including CCNP, CCIE, SPSP, or CISSP.
