Description

Manage and optimize network infrastructure, security, and wireless connectivity for the New York office.

Manage network performance, troubleshoot outages, and collaborate with architects on optimization. Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs. Perform system upgrades, patching, and security configuration updates. Secure network systems by establishing policies and monitoring access. Document network topology using Visio, maintain SOPs, and manage project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance to troubleshoot connectivity issues and outages.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and security configuration updates.
• Secure systems by establishing policies and monitoring access.
• Document topology using Visio and maintain SOPs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network administration and security.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper hardware.
• In-depth knowledge of core Routing and Switching.
• Proficiency with TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VLAN, VPN, and MPLS.
• Experience configuring Cisco Wireless LAN controllers, access points, and SSID/authentication methods.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity, coverage, and Wi-Fi authentication issues.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks.
• Competency with EIGRP, LAN, and general network troubleshooting.
