Description

You will manage network engineering and security operations with a 50/50 split.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate routing, switching, firewalls, WAF, and load balancers.
• Review existing configurations to create and execute standardization plans.
• Partner with stakeholders to perform root cause analysis and execute solutions for complex issues.
• Manage M&A migrations related to network and data center infrastructure.
• Provide direction to remote hands for collocation rack/stack and troubleshooting tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network security strategy and operations.
• Strong CCNP and PCNSA level knowledge.
• Cisco expertise including IOS, Nexus, IOS-XE, and Meraki.
• Palo Alto experience with Firewalls, Panorama, and Global Protect.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Linux (Redhat, Ubuntu) and Open Source tools.
• VPN management including Site-to-Site, Client Access, Cisco AnyConnect, and Prisma.
• Network monitoring using Solarwinds, SNMP, ThousandEyes, TCPDump, and Wireshark.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with wireless technologies (Meraki, Mist) and SIEM (Sumo Logic).
• Prior experience implementing and supporting complex infrastructure functions.
