About the Role

• We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our development team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications and APIs.
• You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient JavaScript or TypeScript code.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless application integration.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions.
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
• Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization.
• Experience writing automated tests using tools such as Jest, Mocha, or similar.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
• Understanding of security principles, OAuth, JWT, and secure API development.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with serverless technologies
