Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Node.js, Kafka, and MSSQL.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design patterns for new and existing systems.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality protocols.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to deliver solutions based on technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience on highly scalable, production-grade projects.
• Expertise in building REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js.
• Experience developing Kafka applications.
• Hands-on experience with MSSQL and complex query optimization.
• Strong experience working within Agile environments.
• Ability to present prototypes and technical enhancements to business sponsors and technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional problem solving.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, React, or non-relational databases like MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, UCD) and monitoring tools (Kibana, Dynatrace).
• Knowledge of OpenShift cloud platform and Wealth Management industry workflows.
