Description

You will build and maintain complex software applications using Node.js and distributed messaging systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Node.js, Kafka, MSSQL, REST, and GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design patterns for new and existing systems.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software design and API specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience on highly scalable, production-grade projects.
• 5+ years of experience building REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js.
• Experience building Kafka applications.
• Hands-on experience with MSSQL and complex query optimization.
• Strong experience working within Agile environments.
• Ability to present prototypes and technical enhancements to business sponsors and product owners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, React, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, UCD), monitoring tools (Kibana, Dynatrace), and OpenShift.
• Experience in the Wealth Management industry.
