Description

Senior ODI Developer responsible for building and maintaining enterprise data integration pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator, PL/SQL, and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ODI mappings, interfaces, packages, and load plans to integrate data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Build complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data loading processes with a focus on high performance and scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve failures in ODI workflows, RMJ jobs, sessions, agents, and data pipelines on Linux environments.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues related to ODI, network connectivity, API integrations, and file transfers, ensuring quick resolution in production.
• Optimize ETL workflows, enforce coding patterns through code reviews, and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and configurations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including topology configuration, Agent setup, log configuration, and certificate installation.
• Extensive expertise in Oracle Data Warehouse and advanced PL/SQL development (queries, procedures, functions).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, including command-line tools and shell scripting for job automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python scripting for data processing and operational workflows.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and ability to write efficient PL/SQL for Oracle Server.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, unit testing, refactoring, and clean code standards.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket for source control management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira.
• Networking fundamentals including API, IP/ports, and SFTP/FTP connectivity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Knowledge of dbt (Data Build Tool) for modern data transformations.
• Private Banking domain experience or background in financial services (FIS AddVantage, CRD, CRM Pivotal).
