Description

You will own the daily operations, stability, and evolution of our enterprise Red Hat OpenShift 4.x platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new enterprise applications to the OpenShift platform, ensuring proper configuration and resource allocation.
• Execute platform upgrades, patching cycles, and operator maintenance to keep the cluster secure and current.
• Administer Portworx storage solutions and manage persistent volume claims for containerized workloads.
• Implement and maintain GitOps-based deployment pipelines using ArgoCD for application lifecycle management.
• Provide operational support during scheduled maintenance windows and troubleshoot complex platform issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift 4.x administration.
• Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps workflows and automated deployments.
• Proven track record administering Portworx storage in Kubernetes environments.
• Strong background in Kubernetes architecture, containerization, and cloud-native engineering.
• Experience managing and patching OpenShift operators and underlying infrastructure.
• Ability to support occasional after-hours maintenance activities and planned upgrades.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, RHCE, or RHCA certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading large-scale OpenShift upgrades, migrations, or application onboarding efforts.
• Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Platform Engineering roles within enterprise settings.
