Description

You will provide research and analysis to support operations initiatives through complex modeling and tool development. You will own the release pipeline for optimization solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop new mathematical and heuristic optimization algorithms.
• Maintain and improve existing optimization algorithms within current products.
• Create and implement detailed specifications and code for optimization solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project and program management.
• Research developments in non-core transport industries and technologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mathematical modeling of large-scale, real-world optimization problems.
• Expertise in Linear Programming (LP), Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP), and Dynamic Programming (DP).
• Proficiency with CPLEX, GUROBI, and LINDO API.
• Strong programming skills in Java and C++.
• Experience with non-linear programming, stochastic programming, and multi-objective optimization.
• Knowledge of heuristic and hyper-heuristic methods including Simulated Annealing (SA) and Tabu Search (TS).
• Experience architecting solutions for real-time optimization and speed without compromising quality.
• Competency in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and clustering methods.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, LINUX, and Windows operating systems.
