Description

Manage and optimize Oracle 19c database environments on AIX, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN backup & recovery systems.
• Perform performance tuning, upgrades, and patching across production environments.
• Implement high availability solutions and manage Oracle Security (TDE, VPD).
• Script automated tasks and database operations using Shell, SQL, and PL/SQL.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong expertise in Oracle 19c, RAC, and AIX environments.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN and Data Guard configuration.
• Proficient scripting skills in Shell, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning and backup/recovery strategies.
• Knowledge of Oracle Security features including TDE and VPD.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to OCI/ExaCC and ZDM migration tools.
• Experience with ACFS snapshot cloning.
