You manage and support mission-critical production Oracle databases to ensure 24x7 availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve database incidents, performing root cause analysis.
• Manage database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and storage technologies like NAS.
• Execute database tasks including DDL generation, cloning, schema refreshes, and performance tuning.
• Maintain and write OS-level scripts in UNIX shell for system maintenance.
• Collaborate with application developers to address performance issues and support new system builds.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Strong operational familiarity with Oracle RAC on 11g, 12c, and above.
• Experience administering Oracle on Unix/Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Oracle, Python, Perl, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Experience with Cloud technologies and RDS.
• Ability to manage backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning.
• Mandatory professional English communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud or Database migrations to the cloud.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or Cloud RDS.
