Description

You will manage day-to-day operations of production and non-production database systems to ensure environment stability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database and operating system space administration to prevent service disruptions.
• Execute performance tuning, patching, database refreshes, and backup/recovery operations.
• Triage database system issues autonomously or in coordination with multiple teams.
• Solicit and formalize requirements from end users and customers.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support the platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience supporting databases larger than 20TB.
• Expertise with Oracle 19c or above, including RAC, Active Data Guard, RMAN, and GDS.
• Strong SQL and OracleDBA skills.
• Experience supporting both OLTP and Data Warehouse environments.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as BASH, KSH, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with EDB Postgres Advanced Server and Postgres on-prem or in the cloud.
• Experience with OEM and GoldenGate.
• Ability to work in semi-structured environments with dynamic priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB Atlas or DataDomain/Rubrik backup tools.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
