Description

You will manage Oracle database administration functions and support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform SQL code reviews, performance analysis, query tuning, and physical data modeling.
• Design database architectures and provide recommendations to development teams for application data needs.
• Set up disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) strategies, and execute routine DR testing.
• Establish database standards for operations, upgrades, migrations, and application onboarding.
• Diagnose production issues quickly to implement solutions or workarounds while participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle DBA with Exadata and RAC expertise.
• 3+ years of DBA experience in Postgres, MariaDB, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
• 5+ years of experience with distributed replication technologies such as Oracle Goldengate or EDB Replication.
• Experience supporting all phases of the SDLC.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Any Graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the Mutual Fund or Financial Services industry.
