Manage and maintain Oracle database infrastructure in a long-term contract role based in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch Oracle database infrastructure and Grid control servers.
• Maintain server performance through proactive system tuning and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve database errors to ensure system stability.
• Manage database security, access controls, and enforce existing standards.
• Develop automation scripts for repetitive database maintenance tasks.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Expertise in installing, upgrading, and patching Oracle environments.
• Proven ability in database performance tuning and complex troubleshooting.
• Experience managing database security policies and user access controls.
• Ability to automate repetitive maintenance tasks using scripts or tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle middleware technologies.
• Experience with Oracle-based ETL processes.
