Description

You will manage Oracle database instances on AWS RDS and ensure optimal system performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle databases hosted on AWS RDS instances.
• Identify system bottlenecks across CPU, IO, Memory, Network, and processes.
• Analyze Oracle session wait events to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
• Optimize SQL code through recommendations for indexes, hints, table reorgs, and index rebuilds.
• Configure and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate (GG) replication and table resync processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Proficiency with Oracle Database management.
• Experience using AWR, ASH, and V$ views for performance tuning.
• Ability to perform SQL tracing and real-time monitoring.
• Expertise in analyzing SQL execution history, execution plans, and stale statistics.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate (GG) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of managing databases on AWS RDS.
• Competency in table partitioning and data archiving.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
