Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex client-server and web-based software systems, focusing on Oracle database architecture and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design systems using object-oriented techniques and UML while writing technical and functional specifications.
• Migrate data from legacy systems and validate consistency between primary and standby systems.
• Coordinate code performance tuning and perform code reviews for the development team.
• Automate and execute unit test cases for every release.
• Mentor less experienced team members and assist with production deployment and high-priority issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or systems analysis.
• Extensive experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency with Unix and AIX environments.
• Hands-on experience with Golden Gate and Oracle Scheduler.
• Working knowledge of Remedy and Cron.
• Experience using SVN Tortoise, Toad, Putty, and SQL Developer.
• Ability to develop programs for flat file data loading and report generation.
• Experience with Java, JSP, XML, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with CA Agile Central – Rally and QC.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
