Description

Lead Oracle database administration and performance tuning in a large AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle 19c RAC, Data Guard, and Golden Gate replication across AWS and Linux platforms.
• Tune SQL performance using AWR, StatsPack, and query analysis with development teams.
• Execute physical database design changes, migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Resolve complex RAC and Redhat clustering issues before they impact production systems.
• Maintain database standards, security compliance, and participate in 7x24 on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience, including 3-5 years as a Lead.
• Advanced Oracle 19c administration, RAC, and Redhat clustering.
• AWS cloud experience (IaaS/PaaS) for database support.
• Strong Linux scripting and Unix platform knowledge.
• Experience with Ansible and Jenkins automation tools.
• Proficient in Oracle TDE, OEM Grid Control, and RMAN.
• Basic understanding of connection pooling and middleware (JBoss, Tomcat).

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, Postgres, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker and container technologies.
