Description

Own the development, optimization, and maintenance of complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs to support operational reporting and executive research.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs.
• Write simple and complex SQL queries from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases.
• Analyze business requirements to determine appropriate tables, relationships, joins, and business rules.
• Extract, validate, transform, and analyze operational data for reporting, research, grants, and executive requests.
• Troubleshoot SQL scripts, automated jobs, and data quality issues while creating efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong ability to write complex queries against normalized transactional databases.
• Experience developing automated SQL processes, scheduled database jobs, and recurring data refreshes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Tableau dashboards and data visualization initiatives.
• Background in legislative reporting or KPI development.
