Description

You will own the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle for enterprise applications. You will create test approaches, plans, requirements, and results while executing load testing against AIX, JAVA/J2EE, WebSphere, and DB2 environments using JMeter and LoadRunner. You will participate in code design and reviews to embed performance best practices into the design phase. You will analyze scalability, throughput, and load testing metrics to ensure timely deployment of new builds. You will recommend system capacity and performance changes using quantitative methods, statistical data, and historical performance data. You will coordinate with software development teams in an agile environment to respond to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create performance testing deliverables including test approaches, plans, requirements, and results.
• Execute load testing against AIX, JAVA/J2EE, WebSphere, and DB2 environments using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Analyze scalability, throughput, and load testing metrics to ensure timely deployment of new builds.
• Recommend system capacity and performance changes using quantitative methods, statistical data, and historical performance data.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in performance testing.
• Proficiency with JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Experience testing AIX, JAVA/J2EE, WebSphere, and DB2 environments.
• Ability to manage system tuning and workload balance.
• Experience working within agile development frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating throughput and scalability metrics.
• Any Graduate degree.
