Description

You will own AWS platform infrastructure, security, and automation for a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure AWS resources including EC2, EKS, S3, KMS, Route 53, and RDS.
• Implement security best practices using IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and AWS Config.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Monitor system health using tools like Splunk, Nagios, or Dynatrace and manage on-call production support.
• Evaluate and integrate new platform services and analyze costs via AWS Cost Explorer.

Required Skills

• 8+ years overall experience with at least 4-5 years of dedicated AWS experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking: VPC, subnets, Internet Gateway, Transit Gateway, and peering.
• Proficiency in Terraform (workspaces, remote-state, modules) and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes/Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Programming experience in Python for Lambda services and automation.
• Understanding of Microservice Architecture and the Spring Boot framework.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience configuring AWS Elasticsearch (ELK) and Logstash.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Agile development methodology and pair programming.
