Description

You will manage and scale containerized infrastructure and Kubernetes environments for a large-scale deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters ensuring reliability and security.
• Manage the full containerization and orchestration lifecycle, including networking and scaling.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines based on GitOps principles for automated deployments.
• Administer Linux-based systems and provision virtualized server environments with hundreds of hosts.
• Monitor system performance using Zabbix and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in platform or systems engineering.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Strong Linux system administration skills, specifically with Ubuntu.
• Proficiency with Docker for containerization in virtualized data centers.
• Hands-on experience with Rancher for Kubernetes management.
• Practical knowledge of GitOps and CI/CD tools.
• Experience using Zabbix for system monitoring.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Higher Education environments.
