Description

Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure scalability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Google Interconnect and connectivity solutions between on-premises data centers and GCP.
• Configure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, routes, and network policies for traffic management and isolation.
• Design network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and IAM policies, to protect GCP resources.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure availability of GCP services and applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to align network solutions with security best practices.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure engineering roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking services.
• Expertise in VPC, Firewalls, Interconnect, and Subnets.
• Proficiency in configuring routes, network security controls, and connectivity solutions on GCP.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, and MPLS.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools including Wireshark and TCPdump.
• Ability to use Google Cloud Monitoring for performance oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
