Description

You will design, implement, and maintain complex PostgreSQL database environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect PostgreSQL solutions and manage infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Monitor, tune, and maintain database performance, including backup, replication, and recovery.
• Define database schemas, optimize query performance, and manage security configurations.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with application teams on data storage needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL Database Administration.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL design, architecture, and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Aurora PostgreSQL, RDS, S3, and EC2.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, Ansible, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, query optimization, and bottleneck identification.
• Experience with automation scripting using Python, Ansible, PowerShell, or Unix shell scripting.
• Knowledge of HA, load balancing, replication, and disaster recovery planning for PostgreSQL.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with implementing security measures, access controls, and LDAP configuration.
