Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale PostgreSQL and MongoDB database environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage PostgreSQL server administration, including patch management and maintenance of Replication/DR environments.
• Monitor production database activity, tracking CPU, disk, memory, space utilization, and security infractions to drive operational improvements.
• Perform database maintenance tasks such as Vacuum, Full Vacuum, and analysis across production and lower environments.
• Execute large-volume database migrations between data centers and cloud environments.
• Install and configure highly available PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters using enterprise security protocols like PAM and Kerberos.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in PostgreSQL Server administration or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience providing enterprise database solutions and data warehouse management.
• 4+ years of experience monitoring production database performance and resource utilization.
• 4+ years of experience with PostgreSQL maintenance activities including Vacuum and analysis.
• 4+ years of experience maintaining Replication/DR environments, including patches and upgrades.
• 4+ years of experience installing and maintaining MongoDB for high availability, including designing multi-sharded clusters and monitoring with Ops Manager.
• 3+ years of experience performing large-volume database migrations between data centers and cloud environments.
• 3+ years of experience configuring highly available clusters with PAM or Kerberos authentication and encrypted storage.
• 3+ years of experience managing RDBMS and NoSQL databases on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
