Description

You will manage and optimize PostgreSQL and Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage PostgreSQL and Oracle database instances.
• Execute backup, recovery, and high availability setups.
• Tune and optimize database performance and queries.
• Design schemas and stored procedures in collaboration with application teams.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and document resolutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of total DBA experience.
• 5+ years of experience specifically with PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle replication, HA, and disaster recovery.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience using job schedulers for automation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills

• PostgreSQL and/or Oracle DBA certifications.
• Familiarity with pgAdmin, OEM, Oracle 19c Multitenant, or MySQL.
