Description

You will design and govern the Power BI ecosystem to enable secure citizen development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and streamline processes for citizen development while enforcing data governance and user access policies.
• Enable low-code and no-code options through standardized Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Define and document best practices for workspace design, gateway management, and data schema mapping.
• Set table-level and SQL code standards, including optimized join patterns for report writers.
• Centralize the report library and establish query design norms for local-level writers.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in data environments.
• Expert-level Power BI architecture and workspace design.
• Advanced SQL coding skills to validate complex joins and optimize query performance.
• Proven experience in data governance and implementing industry frameworks.
• Ability to document technical schemas, standards, and process maps for end-users.
• Experience managing data gateways and user access permissions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Agents for services.
