Description

• Strong SQL skills (primary requirement)
• Power BI and DAX
• Semantic modeling
• Experience working with BI/reporting environments
• Ability to understand end-to-end data flow and mapping
• Experience building complex dashboards (multiple pages, multiple data sources)
• Ability to ramp quickly and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication to coordinate with IT/data hub teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in BI development or analytics engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, performance tuning, deployment standards)
• Advanced SQL across platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, or Databricks
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and analytics architecture
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow enablement

Nice to Have:

• Experience working within a separated intake vs. delivery model
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar tools
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts within analytics workflows
• Experience migrating legacy reporting (e.g., SSRS) to Power BI
