Description

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Power BI analytics solutions, including data models, DAX calculations, and dashboard visualizations. You will lead the migration of existing Tableau reports to Power BI, ensuring feature parity and performance improvements. You will manage Power BI Service administration, workspace governance, and security (RLS). You will also mentor junior developers and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models using best practices for data modeling and Power Query.
• Integrate and optimize Power BI with Google BigQuery, implementing efficient query strategies and cost optimization.
• Drive end-to-end migration projects from Tableau to Power BI, validating functionality and improving performance.
• Manage Power BI Service administration, including workspace governance, security, capacity planning, and compliance.
• Mentor BI developers on technical best practices and collaborate with business teams to gather requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, including Power BI Desktop, Service, and Gateway.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and SQL optimization.
• Proven track record of migrating reports from Tableau to Power BI.
• Experience with Power BI administration, governance, and security (RLS).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Embedded.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for BI using DevOps.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Platform and hybrid cloud environments.
