Description

Own the cross-platform architecture for BRiCare, BR.io, and Unity Next, driving modernization, cloud migration, and security governance across C++, C#, Node.js, and React codebases.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Modernize BRiCare frontend from ASP.NET MVC 5/AngularJS to React 19/Vite/Redux Toolkit and design new REST APIs.
• Lead BRiCare Azure to AWS migration architecture and define the BR.io cloud-native evolution roadmap.
• Formalize CI/CD pipelines for the mixed .NET/Node.js/React platform and govern the SQL Server data model.
• Govern security posture including TLS 1.2+, secrets rotation via Key Vault, and zero-PII telemetry compliance.
• Mentor senior engineers and enforce coding standards across C++, C#, Node.js, and React.

Required Skills

• 12+ years engineering experience, including 4+ years as Architect or Principal Engineer.
• Deep expertise in C++/C# Windows services and .NET Framework (Web Forms, MVC, Web API, WCF).
• Strong proficiency in Node.js Express and React 18/19.
• Experience with Azure AD/MSAL/JWT authentication and SQL Server multi-DB schema design.
• Ability to design multi-solution CI/CD pipelines and PowerShell deployment automation.
• Background in life sciences, medical devices, or industrial IoT.

Preferred Skills

• AWS architecture experience (ECS, RDS, Lambda, IAM) for migration target-state design.
• Experience with LIS/HL7 connectivity and clinical QC software compliance frameworks.
