You will design and evaluate water and wastewater utility systems integrated with advanced manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop pure water and wastewater systems for new builds or retrofits in high-volume manufacturing facilities.
- Review detailed design packages to ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Apply engineering fundamentals to validate utilization and diversity factor inputs for facility infrastructure.
- Maintain and update site water mass balances across multiple projects and facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including construction, electrical, manufacturing, and structural engineers.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in pure water and/or industrial wastewater treatment.
- Experience with large-scale manufacturing facilities, including new builds or retrofits for high-volume processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
- Proficiency in process flow diagrams (PFD), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and process piping.
- Technical knowledge of water treatment technologies, controls systems, and equipment specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and schedule workloads.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with compressed air, vacuum, gas generation, or hazardous chemical distribution.
- Knowledge of domestic water, sanitary waste, and stormwater systems.
