Description

You will serve as the primary technical lead for EPC partners and customers, ensuring design requirements align with contract specifications. You will own the planning, setup, and monitoring of project engineering systems, resolving cross-disciplinary issues to keep execution on track.

You will translate scope of work into actionable engineering deliverables, monitor schedules and budgets, and support Project Managers in tracking design changes and contract deviations. You will review project documents for compliance, coordinate with global teams, and support equipment specification and vendor selection for Gas Turbine and Combined Cycle projects. Your role requires maintaining working knowledge of engineering codes (ASME, API, etc.) and resolving technical items through the warranty period.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and monitoring of project engineering systems, including kick-offs, MDLs, and DORs.
• Translate contract requirements into actionable engineering deliverables for discipline teams.
• Monitor engineering schedules, budgets, and estimates, preparing technical delivery status reports.
• Review and comment on project documents to ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
• Support equipment specification, bid evaluation, and vendor selection for MPWA-sourced equipment.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10–20 years of technical experience in engineering or power project execution.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Experience with SP3D and 3D design tools such as SmartPlant or PDMS.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and technical diagramming.
• Knowledge of ISO procedures and OSHA safety requirements.
• Strong ability to analyze complex mathematical or diagrammatic instructions.

Preferred Skills

• Fluency in Japanese and/or Spanish.
• International business experience collaborating with global teams.
