Description

You will manage complex project and contract lifecycles in coordination with the PMO Manager.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed project planning, oversight, and tracking through all development phases.
• Manage contractor procurement, including state procurement processes, invoicing, and budget tracking.
• Control project scope, estimation, and risk mitigation through preventive and corrective actions.
• Facilitate business process mapping and engineering to identify technology applications for business problems.
• Document detailed requirements for IT solutions to meet program and user needs.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or project administration.
• 10 years of experience in structured design, scope control, and risk mitigation.
• 10 years of experience establishing project goals and making critical decisions based on complex information.
• 8 years of experience evaluating business systems and stakeholder needs.
• 8 years of experience in business process mapping and reengineering.
• 5 years of experience documenting IT requirements.
• 5 years of experience working directly with Texas state agencies as an employee or contractor.
• 3 years of experience working with DIR and the statewide datacenter (DCS) on cloud-based solutions.
• 3 years of experience writing RFI, RFO, and SOW documents.
• 3 years of experience using Texas Project Delivery Framework (TPDF) documents.
• 3 years of experience collecting requirements across geographically dispersed organizations.
