Description

You will lead projects specifically for the Chief Technology Officers group, including Enterprise Architecture, Centralized Application Services, IN.gov, and Strategic Engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the oversight of final project deliverables.
• Manage high-complexity, high-value projects such as camera modernization, POC/pilot projects for emergent technologies, and multi-disciplinary technical upgrades.
• Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget and requirement standards.
• Coordinate stakeholder activities to maintain alignment with project visions and state objectives.
• Manage staff and teams by delegating work, setting clear direction, and providing coaching or corrective action.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as a strategic planner, program/portfolio manager, or project manager.
• PMP Certification.
• Extensive experience overseeing multiple complex, high-dollar value projects to successful conclusion.
• Proven track record managing technology projects using Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Expertise in developing, monitoring, and maintaining detailed project plans and budgets.
• Strong ability to manage workflow and delegate tasks effectively.
• Exceptional professional presence with the ability to communicate publicly to highly visible stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple high-priority initiatives independently under competing constraints.
• Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
