Description

You will manage capital equipment projects from development through installation and closing.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects by creating documentation and securing necessary approvals.
• Manage project lifecycles including installation, closing, and vendor coordination.
• Conduct periodic project meetings to provide critical updates and status reports.
• Support plant operations by troubleshooting equipment failures and providing technical drawings or layouts.
• Identify and tag all new equipment as part of the project completion process.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience leading capital equipment projects.
• Direct experience with food processing equipment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for plant layouts and drawings.
• Experience using MS Project for project scheduling.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced use of MS Office and MS Teams.
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Ability to work on-site in Muscatine, IA, a minimum of 4 days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing facilities-related projects.
