Description

You will lead the design, execution, and implementation of a new criminal history system in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and track project issues, including technology-related blockers.
• Manage project risks and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
• Provide direction to vendors regarding interfaces to existing systems.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts and IT divisions to ensure project completion.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects lasting 6 to 12 months with teams of 3 to 4 people.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of project management experience.
• PMP Certification.
• 10+ years of documented high risk management experience.
• 10+ years of extensive knowledge in applications development.
• 10+ years of experience reviewing and evaluating user and system needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years in process optimization, best practices, and change management.
• Experience in facilitation and internal/external consulting.
