Lead complex, large-scale projects and serve as the principal line of communication for project teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage resource-loaded, leveled projects and associated spend plans.
Maintain project metrics, artifacts, and documentation in compliance with PMO standards and Chapter 60GG-1, F.A.C.
Lead business requirement gathering sessions for JADs and document As-Is and To-Be processes.
Provide regular progress reports and briefings to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Manage project risks, issues, and the implementation of business process improvement recommendations.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple diverse teams.
5+ years of experience setting up and managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
5+ years of experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Jira to track project progress.
5+ years of experience developing detailed project plans based on work breakdown structures.
5+ years of experience with risk and issue management and meeting facilitation.
Project Management Professional (PMI PMP) certification.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis).
Proficiency in SDLC templates and PMO methodologies.
Ability to complete a Level II Background Check.
Preferred Skills
Agile or Scrum certification.
ITIL Service Management Foundations certification.
Experience with state government projects or managing projects in compliance with Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.
